In the deepest parts of the sea, something big has been lurking for millions of years and the right circumstances have brought it to the surface. If you've read the book or watched the movie, you get the feeling in the pit of your stomach that it could possibly be out there. While this is meant to be opened the 1st - 14th of July you can use it for the last part of the month, to celebrate Shark Week 2023, or to countdown to The Meg 2: The Trench that comes out in theatres August 4th, 2023!
Each countdown includes 14 20 gram mini skeins in your choice of Salta Fingering Weight (1,218 total yards in mini skeins) or Bronto DK Weight (686 total yards in mini skeins). Base information below. Extras are included themed for the Megalodon and inspired by the book and movie. Color palette will be blues and neutrals (greys) with pops of color (might we say red?) for the deep blue sea.
Optional full skeins are available to add on that will be a coordinating semi-solid for if you'd wish to stitch a larger garment or accessory.
What to knit/crochet with your countdown? I plan to use an extra skein and knit myself a striped tee to wear to The Trench! I'll share ideas in the countdown for patterns in both knit and crochet that fall in the yardage included.
