Edinger is a vanilla base speckled with mauve, browns and blues.

Named after "Tilly" Edinger, a Jewish Paleontologist, who wrote the founding work on Paleoneurology, a study that examines the imprints left upon mammal skulls. Edinger was born in Germany in 1897. Her father was a neurologist and founded the first neurological research institute in Frankfurt. In her teens, Edinger began to lose her hearing and in her adult life became deaf, unable to hear without her hearing aids. Nevertheless, she persisted, and continued in her studies. She was an unpaid assistant and then curator through 1938, working in secret for Naturmuseum Senckenberg until she was discovered on Kristallnacht. It was only through a former professor that Edinger was able to flee Germany and found herself in the United States of America in 1940 where she continued her study of Paleoneurology, later publishing a paper on the evolution of a horse's brain.
