Yarnaceous Fibers is excited to join in as a participating dyer with Sarah Shiraz of Imagined Landscapes for her Year of Gnomes KAL! To up the fun, we are offering a mystery set of the month for each gnome pattern!
January's mystery mini set will be inspired by a moody and cold winter. Imagine a blend of grays, splashes of berry, deep teal and a grayed olive green.
Don't knit gnomes? These are perfect for striped socks when paired with some stash yarn!
The best part? We've teamed up with Emily of Fan Girl Fibers to bring you a gnomerific wooden marker each month! Gnomthing could get better than that!
February's set is curated to knit Sarah's Here We Gnome Again. This kit has 2 options, one in worsted and one in fingering weight so you can choose which base is your favorite!
This is a preorder expected to ship January 28th. Each month's set will go live the 15th of the month before and will ship by the end of the month for a beginning of the month cast on!
Bases will vary depending on demand.
February's fingering weight base will be Salta Twisted Fingering. 85% superwash merino wool/15% nylon. 87 yards per 20 gram mini. 347 yards total. We love this base for it adds a little fun texture to your gnomes! This set will include 4 minis, a variegated/speckle with 3 semi solids.
Worsted weight base is Brachio Worsted. This set will include one 50 gram skein + one 25 gram skein. 50 gram skein will be 109 yards and be variegated/speckled and 25 gram skein will be a semi solid that coordinates.
